Kuffour on AC Milan shopping list

Bayern Munich defender Samuel Kuffour is being considered by AC Milan for next season.

The Ghanaian is off contract next month and has been linked with Newcastle United and Juventus.

Milan chief Adriano Galliani also has made a preliminary approach for Kuffour as he seeks to lower the average age of the club's defence with Marcos Cafu, Paolo Maldini, Jaap Stam, Giuseppe Pancaro and Billy Costacurta all well over 30.
