Kotoko sign on an expatriate coach

Kumasi, Feb 27, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko has signed on a German expatriate coach for the club for a period of one year. Hans Kodric, the new coach is to be on a three-month probation and if he proves capable, his appointment will then be confirmed.

The new coach was officially introduced by three members of the Board of Directors, Messrs Kwabena Kesse, Osei Boateng and Awuah Nyamekye to the players, technical team and supporters of the club who thronged the club's training grounds on Thursday to have a look at the coach.

With the signing of the coach, Malik Jabir reverts to his official post of Technical Director while Frimpong Manso who had assisted ousted coach, Abdul Razak and stop-gap coach Malik takes over the training of the Kotoko Under-23 team.

In a brief chat, coach Kodric said he believed in less talk and more work and that he will ensure that was exactly achieved. The signing of the coach puts to rest speculations as to is next to coach Kotoko after Razak and temporary coach Malik.
