Interim Coach of Asante Kotoko,Michael Osei believes the Porcupine Warriors’ sudden improvement in results after Coach David Duncan’s exit is due to the high level of commitment shown by the playing body.

During Coach Duncan’s era, Kotoko recorded 3 defeats, 2 draws and 1 win but Osei has led the club to 7 victories and suffered 2 defeats and there have been calls from some club followers for him to be handed the job permanently after an impressive record in the first round.

“I think Kotoko started winning games right after I took over this is because everybody wants to do his best. After assessing them everybody is really doing well and the entire team is doing well”, he told Starr Sports.

The second round of the Ghana Premier League starts on June 26 with a battle against Techiman City at the Nana Gyeabour Park.
