After battling Mont Cameroun in a first leg 1/8th match of the African Cup Winners Cup over the weekend, Kumasi Asante Kotoko return home this evening.
This means that it would be impossible for the team to honour its second week Kinapharma Premier League game against Obuasi Goldfields at the Kumasi Sports Stadium, which the PLB had initially hinted would be scheduled for Thursday.
According to the rules of the FA, a team is expected to honour its outstanding game 48 hours after arriving home.
But on Sunday, the team comes face to face with city rivals, King Faisal in a fixture that bears the trappings of a grudge match.
