Kingson wins save of the week

Black Stars first choice goalkeeper, Richard ‘Oleley’ Kingson, appears to be grabbing massive headline from the English press after his impressive outing for his side Blackpool in two Premier League games.

Kingson who has so far seen 135 soccer action in the Premiership in Blackpool shirt saw his acrobatic save against West Ham United in the 70th minute last Saturday been named as the save of the week during a review of last week’s Premier League.

Before the game against West Ham United last Saturday, Kingson had made headlines in most British dailies after an impressive debut for the club against Aston Villa.

Many believes with such an outstanding performance in just two games, he is in line of grabbing the number one spot for Blackpool this season.

Kingson, who had an impressive World Cup outing with Ghana in South Africa, featured for Birmingham and Wigan Athletic before joining Blackpool this season.
