Jones Invites Foreign-Based Players.

Black Stars head coach, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio in his bid to do an image-saving for Ghana on Sunday against DR Congo for the African Nations Cup qualifier has broken his home-based tradition as he's now invited Prama's Staphen Appiah and Uniaro Liara's Emmanuel Duah.

The two stars who were initially not in the coach's plans for Sunday's game are expected to arrive by tomorrow

Also missing from his squad is right full back, Amankwah Mireku who is in Ukraine for trials.

Meanwhile Jones has requested for the services of three members of the national under-20 team, the Black Satellites who are defending the African Youth Championship won by their predecessors in 1999. They are Ishmael Addo, Charles Taylor and Stephen Tetteh.

The FA is also said to have agreed to Cecil Jones' request and have pledged to fly the three stars down on Friday from Addis Ababa after their game on Thursday against Nigeria.

Officials for Sunday's game are from Egypt and are Gamal El Ghandour who will be in the middle to be assisted on the lines by Wagih Ahmend and Hesham Salah.

The fourth referee is Joseph Mensah from Ghana with the match commissioner coming from Togo in the person of Max Logossou.
