JoeTex In Search Of First League Goal

After emerging as the hottest scorer in the African Champions League, Ghanaian-born forward, Joetex Frimpong, will on Sunday continue his search for his first league goal in the 2002//2003 season, in Nigeria.

Frimpong and his teammates in his Nigerian club, Enyimba, will be guests of former CAF Cup and WAFU Cup champions, Bendel Insurance of Benin, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, on Sunday.

Players of Enyimba, who recently returned from Dakar, Senegal, were opportuned to watch Insurance fall 0-2 to Nigeria's Cup Winners Cup representatives, Julius Berger, in a rescheduled league match at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.

Frimpong was unable to make an early start in the league for Enyimba due to a delay in his transfer from relegated El-Kanemi.

The Ghanaian made his debut in Week 16. He was joint-leading scorer with 17 goals last season in Nigeria.
