I’m not eyeing top scorer title – Ashia

Liberty Professionals returnee Kennedy Ashia has said winning the Ghana Premier League top scorer award is not his aim.

Ashia, who has been on a five-month loan deal with Norwegian side SK Brann, returned after the league ended November 2013

“Yes I am back to Liberty Professionals camp after a five-month loan deal,” he confirmed to Frontpagegh.com. “My aim is to work assiduously for my mother club and make sure we perform better in the second round in the Ghana Premier League and earn ourselves a respectable position on the table at the end of the season.”

He added: “Though I scored 14 goals for my darling club last season, but for now my team-mates together with me will work as a unified body and do away with individual differences in which we believe will make Liberty a fearsome side.”

“Most clubs in Europe are so keen for my signature but I still remain a player of Liberty Professionals, therefore my team officials are taking good care of that with the conviction of landing me a respectable contract,” Ashia added.
