I'm focusing on my physique now - Jordan

Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew believes he is regaining his best form after scoring in Lorient's 2-1 defeat over the weekend.

Ayew scored a 24th minute penalty as Lorient lost 2-1 to Caen on Saturday which was his third goal for the club this season.

“I feel good. I'm trying to ramp up. The goal was good as it has helped me to be ready, so it's a good time. I do not care, anyway we will see what happens in May when the league ends,” Ayew told France.fr.

“I am focusing on my physical condition and my own performance, I have to feel good on the ground to push the team.”

Ayew added: “I had no pre-season, I arrived a week before the championship began, I was on vacation. It is quite normal that I started to be sluggish. I'm not worried at all. We lost a lot of players coming here I knew it would be a complicated season, not easy in any case, I am not surprised of the situation, we must cling.”
