I have no problem with GFA or Nyantakyi - Boakye Yiadom

Ghana striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom has taken to Twitter to deny claims made by Richie Washington on Facebook that he has been sidelined from the Black Stars because he has a problem with the GFA and its President, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The Atalanta attacker has not played for the Black Stars for close to two years, and Washington was claiming that a rift between the Italy-based goal poacher and the CAF Executive Committee member is the reason for his recent exclusion from the senior national team.

“Please ignore Richie Washington’s claim that I have issues with Ghana FA and President Nyantakyi. It’s false, he’s a stranger & a liar,” Richmond Boakye Yiadom tweeted.

The 22-year-old has been called up as a replacement for injured Abdul Baba Rahman for the friendlies against Senegal on March 28 and Mali on March 31.
