I Am A Local Coach With White Skin

The newly appointed Black Stars coach, Ralph Zumdick has said he is so familiar with the local terrain that he considers himself a foreign~local coach. “I was the coach for both Kotoko and King Faisal and have therefore learnt a lot about Ghana football, he told Space Fm.87.7.

In an exclusive interview with the Sunyani~based Radio station, he lauded Ghana football and said a very winsome national side could be built if all hands are put on deck. He revealed that he has been monitoring the foreign and local players and can blend them to form a strong team.

When asked to comment on the ongoing Kinapharma Premier league, he said it has been very competitive. He praised his successor at King Faisal, Hans Dieter Schmidt for the smooth manner he has taken over the team.

Zumdick is fondly remembered by Kumasi Asante Kotoko supporters for guiding the team to a historic grand finale of Cup Winners Cup last year which he lost painfully to WAC of Morocco.
