Herbert Mensah Criticizes Board Of Directors

The chief executive of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Herbert Mensah has criticised the club?s board of directors, chaired by former PNDC secretary, P.V Obeng over their inability to raise funds for the club?s upcoming trip to Morocco.

He told LUV FM in an interview that ?we?ve had to go to fans for fund raising because the board has been unable to. The fans have contributed around 100 million cedis but the board members have not contributed a cedi. If they seek self respect they must come up with the funds to justify why Otumfuo put them there.?

Herbert?s disagreements with the Board of Directors dates back. He has consistently said that the board is doing nothing. Most often, Herbert?s criticism has intensified during away trips for their African Cup campaign. Kotoko will travel to Casablanca for the first leg of the African Cup Winners Cup final game on November 24. They play Wydad Athletic Casablanca.
