Hearts to test the strength of Satellites

Accra, Oct. 10, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak will test the strength of the national Under-21 team, the Black Satellites in a friendly match at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra on Wednesday October 12. The Satellites are preparing for the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Under-21 Soccer Tournament scheduled for Nigeria later in the month, while Hearts will use the occasion to keep themselves in shape when the Premiership resumes.

The Satellites will be in action in Nigeria alongside The Gambia, Cote D' Ivoire and host Nigeria in a tournament, which is to celebrate the 30th Anniversary Celebrations of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). Coach Francis Oti-Akenten of the Satellites hopes' to use the friendly match to sharpen the rough edges of the team after the team drew two all in their friendly match Kumasi Asante Kotoko over the weekend.

Hearts on the other hand suffered 4-2 defeat at the hands of Liberty Professionals in Charity Cup match and seem to be in no mood to stomach another defeat in front of their 'religious fans'. Mr Ashford Tettey-Oku Administrative Manager of Hearts in statement copied to the GNA Sports said a flat rate of 10,000 cedis will be charged at the gates with the match starting at 3:30 pm sharp.
