Hearts of Oak officials face Ghana FA wrath

Hearts of Oak have been charged on four counts of misconduct by their officials, players and fans during a league game against New Edubiase at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The administrator of Hearts of Oak Hackman Aidoo has also been charged with two counts of misconduct and violence for allegedly verbally abusing and physically assaulting the match officials after the game.

Porter Mohammed Alhassan also faces two charges for misconduct and violence for verbally abusing and physically assaulting the match officials in the course of the game against the Bekwai-based club.

The two Hearts of Oak officials have until 11 July 2014 to respond to the charges. Hearts of Oak needed a win against New Edubiase to place second on the log and qualify for next season's edition of the Caf Champions League but a last minute penalty awarded against them ended the game in a draw which aided Heart of Lions to finish one place above them.
