Suhum(E/R) Sept. 5, GNA - Samuel Nagyei, a 43-year old supporter of Accra Hearts of Oak who was jubilating after Hearts league match with Asante Kotoko last Sunday died instantly when he was knocked down by a timber truck at Ayisikrom, near Suhum, in the Eastern Region.

A police spokesman told the Ghana News Agency on Thursday that the deceased, a chainsaw operator and others supporters were jubilating along the road side when the speeding timber truck belonging to MatroStar Wood Processions(MWP) company limited, in Takoradi, knocked him down.

According to the source, the driver of the vehicle refused to stop after the accident and had to be chased before being arrested when attempting to branch into a bush at Nankese.
