Hearts of Oak Seal El-Sporto Kit Deal

Defending league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak have secured a kit sponsorship deal with American kit manufacturers, El-Sporto.

Under the five-year deal, equipment worth over One million dollars are to be supplied to Hearts of Oak in the coming years, and would also see El-Sporto producing replica kits for the clubs fans.

Accra Hearts of Oak started wearing the new kit during their league match against rivals, Asante Kotoko last Sunday.

But Hearts of Oak received the wrath of their new sponsors as they wore a different socks and pants, not branded by El-Sporto.

The United States based kit manufacturers, earlier on proposed kitting Ghana’s two top clubs, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

The deal with Kotoko failed to materialise after Asante Kotoko tied up a kit deal with German manufacturers, Uhlsport.

In another development, El-Sporto is reportedly fighting hard for a Ghana Football Association GFA proposal to be considered.

Should the deal go through, El-Sporto would provide sporting kits for the Black Stars towards next years African Cup of Nations due to be hosted by Mali.
