Hearts Awaits Sammy Adjei's ITC

OFFICIAL sources from Accra Hearts of Oak indicates that they have received positive information regarding the application for an ITC for goalkeeper Sammy Adjei. 90 Minutes understands that the Phobians are set to receive all the relevant documents from the Israeli Football Association to enable them register the former national goalie in due course. Hearts are hoping to include the 2000 CAF Champions League winning keeper into their squad for the 2008/2009 Onetouch Premier League competition which kicks off this Sunday. Speaking to Nii Ayi Bonte II aka Mr. Thomas Okine, head of the newly formed Hearts Interim Management Committee, he confirmed that his outfit has sent in a request for the keeper since they believe his services will be vital in his team's quest to wrestle back the Premiership diadem.

“We want Sammy Adjei so we have sent in a request for his ITC and if information we have received is anything to go by, then I can assure all Hearts fans that Sammy will join us for the league this season,” he said. “We sent in an ITC request for 3 players which included Sammy Adjei, Dong Bortey and Louis Agyemang. Though I have to admit that our team looks quite solid now, we intend to bring Sammy in because he is a quality keeper with lots of experience which no one can deny.”
