"Hearts' 2nd Goal against Edubiase did not cross the line" - Commey

Albert Commey , the Public Affairs Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak has admitted that the second goal scored by his club against New Edubiase at the Accra Sports Stadium in the 5th week Glo premier league did not cross the line and as such was not a goal.

Mr Commey admitted it in an interview with myiconsports.com but quickly went to the defence of Referee Fletcher saying he did not see it.

“I know it will be painful and i share the same same sentiments with Edubiase CEO Abdul Salam as it can be very frustrating” he indicated.

“That is football for you: it is sad but the nature of the game we have all decided to play is that sometimes some of this things are bound to happen” Mr. Commey explained whilst he also stressed that Referees as humans will commit such mistakes in football.

“In any case we would have beaten Edubiase, and we will try also to maintain our form till we win the league” The Public Relations Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak added.
