Hasaacas saved by rebound as they beat Edubiase

Hasaacas kept the pressure at the summit of the league after edging New Edubiase 1-0 in the game at the Essipong Stadium on Sunday.

A late goal by Roger Lamptey in the 85th minute separated both teams as he scored from a rebound after Samuel Afful's penalty had been blocked by goalkeeper George Arthur.

Hasaacas are second on the log and two points behind leaders, AshantiGold.

However, defeat sends Edubiase to the foot of the table after three matches. The Bekwai side are 8 points adrift the top going into match-day-4 next weekend.
