Happy FM Launch "Black Stars" Radio

Happy 98.9 fm, two times Sports Station of the year in Ghana is to launch a special radio program, "Black Stars Radio" on its network. The program which will be aired every Friday at 8pm on Happy Fm and its affiliates nationwide will be formally out-doored at a cocktail event at the Food court of the Accra Mall on Friday 5th September 2008 at 6.30 pm.

According to the General Manager, Capt. (rtd) Asare Bediako, "this program is a reflection of the new constructive changes going on at Happy Fm, aimed at stepping up the company to a new level". He added "We have always been the leader in Sports and adding a program dedicated to the Black Stars to our growing list of sports products is a demonstration of that".

After the launch event, special giant screens will be erected to at the Accra Mall to show the match between Ghana and Libya live. The stations Ace Sports presenter, Odiasempa Kwame Oware, will also bring guests at the launch behind the scenes information from Libya.

Black Stars Radio is a special purpose Radio program dedicated to the Black Stars. It seeks to bring listeners up to date information on the Black Stars, the players, the officials and raise important issues on the team for discussions. It will air on Happy Fm and its affiliate stations nationwide.
