Gyan on target in Al Ain’s home win

Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan was on target for Al Ain in their 2-1 home win over Al Jazira in the Arabian Gulf League on Sunday.

The 29-year-old put the ball past Al Jazira goalie Mohammed Ghuloum to hand Coach Zlatko Dalic’s side the second goal in the 32nd minute.

The ex-Rennes and Sunderland striker has now netted 11 goals in 11 league appearances for Al Ain this season.

Gyan’s side finished the game with 10-men after referee Mohamed Abdullah Hassan Mohd sent off centre-back Mohanad Salem in the 87th minute after he had committed two bookable offences.
