Guinness Gala rescheduled to March 31

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has rescheduled this year's Guinness Gala competition from April 8th to March 31st.

The traditional Gala involving all Premier League clubs ushers in the new soccer session.

A statement signed by Mr Kwaku Ampim-Darko, Deputy General-Secretary of the GFA said the rescheduling was due to Accra Hearts of Oak-Etoile du Congo champions league match that has been pushed back a week because Hearts have contributed three players to the national Under-20 side currently on national duty in Ethiopia.

Participating clubs are to report at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday March 31 at 8 am at the East End of the Stadium for the competition to start at 9 am.

Meanwhile kick-off for the 2001 league remains April 15.
