Guidelines for registration of Hearts supporters

Accra, Aug. 21, GNA - The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has released guidelines for the annual registration exercise of its supporters.

A statement issued in Accra on Thursday and signed by Mr Ashford Tettey-Oku, Administrative Manager of the club said, "all Phobians desirous of standing up to be counted are to pay 30,000 cedis plus two passport size photographs".

The statement asked supporters to make the payment at the club's national secretariat, offices of Random Advertising, behind the Cocoa Clinic at North Kaneshie in Accra and the local chapter executives. It urged institutions like the banks, universities among others, to nominate one person to liase with the national secretariat in order for desired members to be registered.

The statement said management in conjunction with its marketing partners, Random Advertising, has arranged so that interested persons will take their pictures at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday between the hours of 10am and 2pm, during which registration forms will also be filled.

It urged all fans to cooperate to ensure a smooth exercise, "as this is the only opportunity to credibly identify themselves with the club and its aspirations".
