Grunsah Slams Kwesi Nyatakyi

... Where is all the World Cup money?
.. Campaigns Against C20 billion for CAN08

Alhaji Karim Grunsah has accused FA President Kwesi Nyatakyi and the rest of the FA Management Committee of "putting their stomachs first before Ghana football".

In a no holds barred interview with Angel FM, the often controversial bankroller of Kumasi based King Faisal Babies wondered: "how can one person be a policeman and a soldier at the same time?" He said with the current dispensation, nobody can really challenge the FA President as "he's the Vice Chairman of GHALCA and President of the FA at the same time".

Alhaji Grunsah was sharing his views on the press conference organised by the FA in Accra to answer questions relating to the current state of Ghana football and other pertinent issues with regards to the well being of the Ghanaian game.

He said the press conference "was staged managed by Kwesi Nyantakyi and that officials of the FA are being economical with the truth". He continued by saying what every football loving Ghanaian wanted to hear was measures being taken for the resumption of the league and not any unnecessary news about the national teams as we all know about their performances already.

When asked to confirm the veracity or otherwise of news making rounds that he's leading some club officials to form a breakaway league, Alhaji retorted "GHALCA is not my property so why are people accusing myself and Kudjo Fianoo of organising a coup? Some people's stomachs are worrying them so they will always not speak the truth."

FA spokesperson, Randy Abbey wasn't spared of Alhaji effusions by saying “I don’t understand Randy Abbey. He is paid by Kessben FC so he shouldn’t waste our time”.

“Where is all the World Cup money?" he asked.

"They are liars and I'm telling them that they are putting their stomach's first but I want them to know that if they chop all the FA money their stomachs will burst. We knew some of them before they came to the FA and now they think they are untouchable."

Concluding Alhaji said he will spearheard a campaign to make sure that the ¢20 billion that the authorities are requesting as needed to help in preparations for the Black Stars before the CAN 2008 will not be given to them as it will end up in some people’s pockets.
