Goldfields In Hot Waters Again?

Barely two weeks after Goldfields’ appeal against the ruling of Disciplinary Committee in favour of Berekum Arsenal was painfully dismissed , Space Fm is reliably informed that Real Tamale United are set to deepen the woes of the soccer miners with another protest.

This time, it is about their Cameron import Valentine Atem. According to a very close source from RTU, Atem who featured for Goldfields in their 7th week match at Obuasi had no work permit at that time. This accrding to the source is contrary to the Rules and Regulations of GFA, citing Article 34 to back their case.

Space Fm investigations have revealed that on the 23rd of July when Goldfields beat RTU by 4-0, Atem’s work permit had not been granted.

In the said match, Atem made his debut appearance for Goldfields. The Miners beat RTU 4~0.
