Ghanaian soccer "guru" to appear on NBC Today

Renowned soccer teacher and founder of Ferdie’s Soccer Magic Academy, Ferdie Adoboe of Belchertown MA (originally from Ghana) is scheduled to appear on the today show Wednesday August 27.

He will attempt to break his Guinness World Record in soccer Speed Juggling, and launch his latest invention Ferdie’s Soccer Magic Skills Carpet. .Speed juggling is how fast an individual can juggle a soccer ball in 30 seconds. Ferdie holds the world records with 136 juggles in 30 seconds, 263 juggles in one minute.

Ferdie created the concept which he teaches to youth soccer players as part of his skills development program. 14 year old Ghanaian born US youth soccer sensation Freddy Adu has been timed at 240 juggles in one minute. Speed Juggling teaches soccer players to master and handle a soccer ball very quickly with incredible control.
