Ghana’s opponents S/A to name squad today

South Africa coach, Ephraim Mashaba will name his provisional Afcon squad today ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea next month.

The Bafana Bafana, who went through the qualifiers unbeaten are in the same group with Ghana, Algeria and Senegal.

“The coach will announce the provisional squad tomorrow and he will name the final squad on December 30,” Dominic Chimhavi, South African Football Association spokesman told KickOff.com.

The squad will go into camp on December 26, four days before the number is trimmed down to 23.

The 1996 champions will take on Zambia in a friendly match on January 4, 2015 ahead of the tournament’s group of death.
