Ghana U20 leave for Uganda AYC qualifier

Ghana's Under-20 team have left Accra on Thursday afternoon for their 2013 African Youth Championship qualifier against Uganda.

The 32-man contingent included 18 players, eight members of the technical team, four Ghana FA officials and two from the Sports Ministry.

The team travelled via Ethiopian Airways and will arrive at the Entebbe Airport at 1: 15 am (local time) on Friday.

The Black Satellites were supposed to have travelled on Tuesday afternoon but had to delay due to flight challenges.

They will play the Hippos on Saturday in the second qualifying round first leg qualifier in Nakivubo.

Ghana squad:

Goalkeepers: Muntari Tagoe, Felix Annan

Defenders: Seidu Salifu, Richmond Nketiah, Jeremiah Akorful, Ahmed Adams, Lawrence Lartey, Daniel Amartey

Midfielders: Mumuni Abubakar, Isaac Sackey, Godfred Adofo, Frank Sarfo Gyamfi, Joseph Baffour Gyewu, Michael Anaba, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Jacob Appau.

Strikers: Patrick Twumasi, Benjamin Fadi.
