Ghana-Korea Game In Danger?

GHANA and South Korea are ready to bring World Cup fever to Scotland - if they can find a pitch to play on. The World Cup qualifiers will play a glamour friendly here on June 4 in preparation for the finals in Germany the following week.

But they are struggling to find a stadium to host the game because most of the playing surfaces are under repair at the end of the domestic season.

Former Rangers boss Dick Advocat will take his South Korean squad, including Manchester United's Park Ji-Sung, to Murray Park for a two-week training camp.

The Ghanaians, whose star man is Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien, will travel from their base in London.

Hamilton Accies are the only side to offer a solution so far but neither side wants to play on an artificial surface.

However, match agent Dennis D'Arcy said: "We have an agreement in place with an SPL club but I can't divulge the details until the contracts are exchanged."
