Ghana Ambassador to S/A visits Stars in Moroni

Ghana’s Ambassador to South Africa H.E. Kwesi Ahwoi has arrived in Moroni for the Black Stars’ 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Comoros which will be played today.

H.E. Ahwoi who has oversight responsibility over Comoros and Mauritius, will watch and offer his support to the team for today’s match which has been scheduled for the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh stadium.

Coach Avram Grant and his team trained at the venue (astro pitch) for Friday’s World Cup qualifying match on Thursday, hours after they touched down in the Comorian capital.

The game is set to kick off at 12:00 noon with the Black Stars expected to arrive in Ghana this weekend ahead of the second leg which will be played next week Tuesday.
