George Arthur Must Shut Up - ZICO

Mr. Kingsley Osei Bonsu, aka Zico, the legitimate Chief Executive Of Brong Ahafo United Football Club has reacted to a Graphic Sports report which George Arthur and his cronies claim to have stripped the Omanhene of Sunyani Traditional Area, Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrewiri of his title as the Life Patron of B/A United and thus electing themselves as Management accordingly.
Speaking in an interview in Sunyani, Mr. Osei Bonsu who has decided to maintain a low profile of late stated that his silence should never be misconstrued as having kowtowed to the whims of George Arthur and his bunch of stomach football Administrators.
I have only kept quiet because I believe in civility and the rule of law, which must inform our actions as a people. And if Arthur has so much money as he claims, then he should use it to settle his indebtedness to El Ahly Club of Egypt, which has led to his indefinite ban by FIFA, he advised. He reminded Arthur to consult Article 34, clause 2 of the FA regulations as that should form enough basis as to whether he wants to follow football again. Article 34 of the Regulations technically bans George Arthur who has been banned by FIFA from playing any role in football
According to Zico, George Arthur and his followers are so power conscious that they seem not interested in studying the rules of the game. He queried how George Arthur and his men (largely dominated by the dissolved Board Members) could strip the Omanhene of his position as Life Patron B/A United? This indeed exposes him (Arthur) as disrespectful and as such a very dangerous fellow.
He has therefore warned all those doing business with Arthur in the name of B/A United to advice themselves as the repercussions of such actions would be grave. Additionally, he has cautioned all those transacting business in the name of B/A United to get ready as they would soon account for every cedi, when the law catches up with them.
In a very confident mood, Zico also had a message for all those who stood unconcerned for him to invest his all in the club, only to turn around to accuse him of a one man show and therefore have promised heaven and earth to snatch B/A United away from him, to gird their loins for a run for their money, as the battle has not yet began. According to the Chairman, this would definitely be the last time unscrupulous individuals would mobilise people to overthrow a Management of the Club, and insisted that he has what it takes to prove people wrong, for the first time in Ghana Soccer and in the history of the Club
