GFA expresses concern about usage of logo

Accra, Nov. 28, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has warned that it would take legal action against any body who uses its logo without authorization in designing T-shirts and other sports paraphernalia.

The Association it has come to its notice that some individuals are illegally using its logo in designing T-shirts and other sports equipment.

Mr Emmanuel Gyimah, Deputy General Secretary of the GFA in a Press release copied to the GNA Sports said "We wish to bring to the notice of the general public that the Association's logo has been registered with the Registrar General's Department".

He said in that regard, individuals and companies who are interested in using the logo of the Association must first purchase an application form from its secretariat and return them with all the requisite information and information to facilitate their approval. The release advised all to play according to rules and laws governing the use of logos for commercial purposes.
