GFA Veep wants all hands on deck

Ghana Football Association vice president Fred Pappoe has called for all an inclusive effort to halt the alarming slides of Ghana football.

The football powerhouse has experienced some disappointing results in the last four months with clubs and national teams involved.

Ghana's two representatives in Caf inter-clubs competitions were kicked out in the preliminary qualifying rounds. The Local Black Stars and the Black Queens both failed to make it past the round stage of the CHAN tournament and African Women's Nations Cup respectively.

A promising Ghana Under-23 team were handed a shock exit from the London 2012 Olympic Games qualifiers and only last Saturday the Black Queens were also bundled out by Ethiopia. Late last year, the national Under-17 failed to qualify for the 2011 African Under-17 Championship.
