Ghana Football Association vice president George Afriyie says Court Injunctions have been part of Ghana football but insist they will address it.

Accra Great Olympics have secured an injunction to stop the new Ghana Premier League season from starting.

They are protesting that Bechem United should be demoted from the premier league after fielding an unqualified player in their match-day 30 league game last season.

Many have expressed disappointment with the move by the Accra based team.

George Afriyie insists this is not a new thing but believes they will find a solution to it.

“This is not the first time we have been served with an injunction; we only need to change the system because this is something worrying our game”, George said.

“The Executive Committee will meet and deliberate on the way forward but such instances over the years have made it very difficult to attract sponsors and clearly StarTimes will be disappointed about yesterday’s instance”.
