Friendly: Meteors Play Hearts

Champion Club, Accra Hearts of Oak, will engage the national Under 23 football team, the Black Meteors, in a special friendly match at the Accra Stadium tomorrow.

The match, which is being organised by the National Football Teams Supporters Club, will be used to raise funds for the Meteors’ Olympic Games preparations.

The Meteors play their South African counterparts, the Amagluglug, at the Accra Stadium on Sunday in an Olympic Games qualifier and the game against Hearts is intended to be a vital preparation towards the Meteors’ international match on Sunday.

For Hearts who have been virtually inactive since the league break, coach Herbert Addo has an opportunity to test his side before the restart.
