Frank Acheampong scores but Tianjin TEDA lose at home in Chinese Super League

Frank Acheampong scored for third consecutive week but his side Tianjin TEDA lost 2-1 at home to Shandong Luneng in the Chinese Super League.

The Ghana international converted a penalty in the 56th minute to tally nine league goals.

Acheampong was fouled inside and dusted himself to plant home for the opening goal.

But Junmin Hao equalized in the 79th minute before Xinghan Wu netted on the 90th minute mark.

Tianjin TEDA are now eighth on the leaue table after 11 rounds of matches.
