FA Struggling To Secure League Sponsorship

The Ghanaian Premier League season, which many analysts believe would be full of surprises, is less than three weeks away, and although all clubs have started their build up, the Ghana Football Association does not seem to be ready for the commencement of the season.

The Association is struggling to find corporate sponsors for the league after Ghana Brewery Limited pulled out of the sponsorship deal.

The pull out, coming at a time when companies had already drawn their annual budgets have put the FA in a tight corner.

For now, indications are that the FA would accept any deal to keep the league going even if it is less than the 800 million cedis package offered by Ghana Brewery in the previous season.

The FA also needs funds to pay for officiating before the Referees Association pull out of the league.
