Essien and Asamoah eyed by AC Milan

Future Milan Midfield: EBA (Essien, Boateng, Asamoah)?

Fresh from winning the Serie A title two weeks ago, the Italian side are said to already be planning for next season and have drawn up a wish-list of potential transfer targets.
Having been knocked out of the Champions League by Spurs this season, Milan are now rumoured to be preparing to go on a shopping spree in London to strengthen their squad for next campaign, with owner Silvio Berlusconi promising fans a number of high-profile signings.
Essien is one of a number of players linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer, with owner Roman Abramovich expected to make widespread changes to his Chelsea squad by releasing a number of the club’s older and fringe players.
AC Milan are believed to be tracking the Ghanaian midfielder’s progress and are expected to make a bid in the region of £18million for the 28-year-old in the next couple of months.

AC Milan chief Braida admits admiration for Udinese midfielder Asamoah

AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida has admitted admiration in Udinese midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah.
The Ghana star is being linked with the champions.
“He proved that he is an excellent player in Udine. For the moment let us say that is all,” said Braida.
“I would be happy if Udinese got to the Champions League preliminary round, but Milan are in their way and we intend to win every game.
“The Friulani have had an extraordinary season and this would be the crowning moment. It’s well deserved, as Francesco Guidolin is one of the best Coaches around.”
