Hasaacas striker Eric Bekoe has received a brand new pair of football shoes from Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League.

The new Adidas branded boots, according to the defender is to motivate Bekoe to strive well in the Premier League and to bang in the goals when the league starts.

Bekoe who was ditched by Accra Hearts of Oak joined Sekondi Hasaacas on transfer deadline date and has since been the brightest spot for the side in their pre-season preparations.

Speaking to GHANAsoccernet.com on receipt of the boots, Eric Bekoe expressed gratitude to Rashid Sumaila and said he will be up for the task when the league kicks off.

“I am so grateful to Rashid and Gideon Baah for their gifts. Gideon gave me some boots as soon as I signed for Hasaacas and Rashid has also given me this for the league.

They want to see me being my old self and I believe I shall make them proud,” Bekoe said.

The former Asante Kotoko striker has so far scored two goals in three matches for Hasaacas in their pre-season preparations.
