Dwarfs pip Hearts in an friendly

Cape Coast, Mar. 5 GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs beat Premier league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak 1-0 in a friendly soccer match played at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast on Sunday.

Hearts who featured some of their regular players including Ekow Ghansah, Eric Nyarku, Nana Egyir and Techie Menson were matched boot for boot by Dwarfs but it was not until the 21st minute when midfielder, Bismark Asiedu, scored the match winner for the homesters. Asiedu after collecting a pass from Kenneth Edzie rounded up his marker to score the only goal of the match.

Hearts resumed the second half strongly and kept the Dwarfs vital goal area boiling but the determined defence of Dwarfs made sure they defended gallantly to foil any attempts at them conceding any goal till the final whistle.
