Dwarfs complete home-match ban

Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs completed serving their carried-over 8-match home ban from the Cape Coast Robert Mensah Stadium with a goalless draw against New Edubiase on Saturday.

Both aides marked out each other throughout the 90 minutes of the game played at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium despite the hosts, Dwarfs appearing as the better side. There was only a caution in the game which went to Ebusua Dwarfs’ captain Stephen Aidoo.

During the 2011/12 Premier League season, the Disciplinary Committee imposed a 12-match home ban which was later reduced to 8 on Ebusua Dwarfs in April following a charge of misconduct after fans attacked and severely beat referee Patrick Kyeremateng at the end of a home league game against Aduana Stars on 11th March, 2012.

Of the 8 games played home-away-from-home, Dwarfs managed to grab a total of 9 out of 24 points after serving the entire ban and will be reverting to the Robert Mensah Stadium when they play host to Berekum Chelsea on match-day 8 of the 2012/13 season.
