Dramani applies for GFA coaching job

Dramani Mas-ud Didi, former assistant coach of the Black Queens has applied for a National team coaching role following the advertisement by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Didi, who until recently assisted Coach Anthony Edusei according to information pieced together by the GNA Sports, did not indicate his preference for a specific national team.

The Coach, a Confederation of African Football (CAF) Coaches’ Instructor under observation and currently working with the Technical Directorate of the GFA is said to be convinced he has what it takes to handle any of the national teams.

Didi who coaches Right to Dream football Academy and trains players between the ages of 12 and 19 years’ philosophy is to identify talent and develop them through the building of a compact team from defence through attack.

The Technical Director and founder of Division one outfit, Guan United has a passion for promoting the interest of soccer with respect to observing the laws of the game and fair play.

The coach is hoping to rely on his achievements which include qualifying the Ghana Deaflympic Soccer team to participate as the only Africa representative in the 2005 Deaflympics Games held in Melbourne, Australia to earn a job as a substantive boss of any of the national teams.

He was part of the technical team that qualified the Queens to the 2010 Africa Women’s Championship in South Africa as an assistant Coach.

In an application letter to the GFA cited by the GNA Sports, the coach said ‘with my experience in youth football development, I can help to raise the standard of the game and also win laurels in competitions.’

Didi is a CAF Coaching Licence B and a CAF Coaching Instructor’s Certificate holder with an International DFB Coaching Certificate, A Level from the Sport Center Hennef, Germany.

Last year, he became the first Ghanaian coach to have an attachment with English giants, Manchester City.
