Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, Kwesi Nyantakyi, has told Supersport United not to associate Glo with the Ghana league.

According to him, Supersport, who has the right to telecast the Ghana league live, was associating Glo with the Ghana league.

The move by Supersport, he told Angel FM in Kumasi, was a mistake which should be stopped immediately.

Lawyer Nyantakyi disclosed that Glo’s contract with the Ghana league came to an end in May 2013.

This therefore makes it illegal for Supersport to continue associating Glo with the Ghana league in their telecasts.

The GFA Boss therefore expressed the hope that Supersport would make the necessary corrections immediately.

Lawyer Nyantakyi however said the senior national team the Black Stars still have a deal with Glo, which would end on January 2014.
