Defeat unthinkable -Roberto Carlos

Brazil star Roberto Carlos has dismissed Ghana's challenge ahead of their knockout clash today.

Roberto Carlos, 33, insisted: "If I thought I was going to lose this match I would pack my bags today and leave.

"It hasn't even crossed my mind about losing to Ghana.

"I have confidence in my team, in the tactics and in the strength of the squad.

"We've won all the tournaments that we have competed in."

Roberto Carlos also rubbished claims the Brazil camp is being torn apart from the inside by competing superstars.

He added: "There are no problems with egos. Everybody is here with the same goal.

"Whenever there are rumours about a bad atmosphere in the squad that only serves to motivate us more.

"The atmosphere is good and you will not hear anything different."
