Dede Set for Stars Return

Andrea Dede Ayew is set to make a return to the Black Stars for the international friendly against Tunisia in Accra next week.

The national U-20 captain will be handed the chance by coach Milovan Rajevac to reclaim his position in the side he lost since the Nations Cup semifinal defeat to Cameroon at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Dede has not played for the senior side since despite establishing himself as a regular at Lorient in the top flight.

He helped the U-20s return to the African Youth Championships after a six year absence but has not hidden his ambitions to return to the senior side.

"I still crave for the Black Stars. I want to win my place in the Black Stars," he said recently.

Milovan Rajevac will give him the chance to stake his claim against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia who are due in Accra next Tuesday ahead of the friendly at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Wednesday.
