Darmang Evergreens win

Nsawam (E/R), Oct. 7, GNA - Darmang Evergreens F/C on Sunday beat Ahwerease Lucky Diamond 3-2 in a friendly football match to mark the celebration of this year's Odwira festival of the chiefs and people of Darmang, near Nsawam, at the weekend.

Centre forward Nfoahene Kwaafo opened the scoring for Evergreens in the 22nd minute with a terrific shot. Striker Yaw Adjei of Lucky Diamond levelled the scores 1-1 in the 43rd minute through a free-kick.

Inside left Kwadjo Boye increased the goals to 3-1 for Evergreens in the 57th and the 80th minutes while Yaw Adjei again of Lucky Diamonds reduced the score line to 3-2 in the dying minutes of the game.
