Committee To Investigate Ashanti Regional Circles Impasse

The Executive Board Chairman of Kotoko, Dr K.K Sarpong has just inaugurated a 3-member committee of enquiry with the express mandate to investigate the impasse at the Asghanti Regional Circles Council Chairmanship elections.

They are Hon. Fred Kwaku Amponsah,(former MCE, Offinso South) Ms Marie Louis Simons (Lawyer) and Mr Kwaku Nsiah (Building & Road Contractor).

The current Ashanti Regional Circles chairman, Kwadwo Nyantakyi is perceived by some to be the stumbling block to the elections, choosing to cast doubt on the eligibility of anyone who stands against him
