Coca Cola Under-17 tourney hits Accra

Accra, Feb. 5, GNA - The Coca Cola Regional Under-17 soccer tourname= nt will hit Accra next week with eight teams competing for honours. The event, fixed for February 11 and 12 at Tema is aimed at unearthi= ng soccer talents and selecting two best juvenile teams to vie for the natio= nal title.

Competing for honours in the two-day soccer event are B.T International, Shaka FC, Manchester United, Top 10, Tema All Stars, Photi= zo, Soccer Mercenaries and Desideroes. As part of the competition coaches Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie, Francis O= ti Akenteng and Frimpong Manso would take participants through some coaching=

and playing technique at a clinic.

The winner and the first runner up is expected to take home attracti= ve cash prizes, plaques, trophies, certificates and Coca Cola products. Mr Anthony Cheneboah of the Marketing Department of Coca-Cola said h= e is confident that the exercise will meet the target of unearthing more soccer talents for the nation. 05 Feb. 10
