Coach Fabian admits interview blunder

Heart of Lions head coach Paa Kwasi Fabian has admitted he failed to impress the interview panel for a national team post.

The former Hearts of Oak coach is among the 25 short-listed applicants for the six vacant national team jobs.

He appeared before the interviewing committee on Thursday as he seeks to coach the national Under-17 team.

Fabien admitted he struggled to convince the panel of his knowledge in the theoretical aspect of the interview.

"Yes it's true. I could not respond to some of the questions put to me at the interview,'' Fabian said.

''They were technical questions which I never fancied could be asked so I did not prepare.''
