Clottey assures fans Kotoko will bounce back

Newly captured Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Emmanuel Clottey has called for calm amidst poor results for his club after he made his debut on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The former Black Stars player made a cameo appearance for the reigning Ghana Premier League champions but his effort couldn’t save the blushes of the fabulous club who failed to pick all three points against WAFA on match day 8 of the First Capital Plus Premier League.

Clottey who joined the Porcupine Warriors to re-launch his career after disappointing stints in North Africa and Asia has called for calm.

“The coaches and the management are doing their best for us, and it’s about time we also worked hard on the field.

“I just joined the team but I think that this team has quality to beat any team in the country so people should be calm and we will get things right”, Emmanuel Clottey told Sportscrusader.com.
